About the art: This illustration of Firebird, A Russian Fairy Tale was adapted from Edmund Dulacs c. 1916 painting of the same name published in Edmund Dulacs Fairy Book. Born in France in 1882, Dulac moved to London at age 22 and became an acclaimed childrens book illustrator, best known for his colorful watercolor paintings.
